Position 1
Position Title: Program Support Specialist
Location: Remote (but must be physically based in Hawai'i)
Period of Employment: Starting asap, full-time
Wage range: $18-20/hr, commensurate on experience

Description:
The Hui Maka‘āinana o Makana is seeking administrative support for its Fisheries [Makai Watch Community Base Subsistence Fishing Area (CBSFA)] and educational outreach programs. This full-time temporary position will also assist with meeting planning, logistics, document management and other technical support as needed.

Position 2
Position Title: Mālama ‘Āina Technician
Location: Hā‘ena State Park, Kaua‘i
Period of Employment: Starting immediately, Full-Time
Wage range: Starting at $25/hr, commensurate on experience

Description:
The Hui has created a farm operation in the ancient cultural landscape of Hā‘ena State Park on the island of Kaua‘i. The Hui recognizes the need to professionally maintain and manage this farm to increase the quality and quantity of products being grown there and is recruiting Mālama ʻĀina Technicians.
Mālama ʻĀina Technicians will perform general and specialized maintenance of the Hui’s farm complex in this highly culturally sensitive area under the guidance of the Loʻi Complex Mālama ʻĀina Specialists. Technicians will also be asked to lead by example and assist to educate volunteers, interns, educational groups, and community members in restoration practices of loʻi and the surrounding area.
